Add an NS record

All DNS records are added to your domain on the advanced DNS page. To add a NS record you will need the nameservers you are pointing to. Your website provider will give you this information.

Note: Custom NS records are used to point a specific subdomain to a different set of nameservers, which can then allow you to manage DNS for the subdomain further on another DNS service.   1. Log in to your get.realtor account.
  2. Go to My Domains page.
  3. Click the Manage Domain button for the domain you want to add DNS records.
  4. Select the Advanced DNS tab.
  5. Click the Add DNS Record button.
  6. Choose NS Record from the Record Type dropdown list.
  7. Enter the details for your NS Record:
    • Host: The host name of the subdomain you are pointing.
    • Name Server: The nameserver you want the subdomain to point to.
    • Time To Live (TTL): How long the server should cache information. The default setting is 30 minutes.
  8. Select Save Record to save your new NS Record.

Please allow up to 48 hours for your DNS changes to take full effect globally.
