How to Customize Your Professional Website
We're going to talk about how to customize your brand new professional website to your brand. We'll walk through all the steps and things you can do to get your website personalized to your needs and get back to doing what you do best, which is selling.
Logging In
- Go to Get.realtor™: This is the website you will go to, to log in and manage all of your domains, websites, and emails.
- Log In: Select "Log In." You can log in with your NAR credentials, your Korea, or the username and password account you used when setting up your account.
Managing Your Domain
- Under My Domains: Select "Manage Domain."
- Manage Website: Scroll down and select "Manage Website" or select the "Website Setup" tab.
- Connected to Your Professional Website: By default, after you purchase your domain, you are connected to your free professional website. Select "Manage" to make updates and build your brand on your professional website.
Customizing Your Website
- Open Site Editor: Under "Manage," open your site editor. This is where you will make any and all changes.
- Dashboard Tab: Important for seeing your statistics and lead generation forms.
- Republish Button: Any changes you make will not be live until you republish your site. Feel free to play around in your editor; your website will not be updated until you hit republish.
Updating Content
- Content Folder: Select the content folder icon (looks like a file folder).
- Business Info and Business Text: These are the two areas where you will update your information.
- Business Info: Update your business's name, logo, phone number, email, and social media icons.
- Replace Logo: Select "Replace" to upload a new logo.
- Edit Logo: Select "Edit" to transform the size of your logo.
- Save and Close: Save your changes and close the editor to see your updated logo.
- Business Text: Update your about us box, company overview, business services, and client testimonials.
- Edit Text: Simply edit the text in this area to reflect your business accurately.
- Update Testimonials: Update client testimonials and use only the last initial for privacy.
- Business Info: Update your business's name, logo, phone number, email, and social media icons.
- Social Media Icons: Update your social media icons in the business info section.
- Remove Icons: If you don't have a particular social media account, remove the text in that box to make the icon disappear.
- Copy and Paste Handles: Copy and paste your social media handles to ensure accuracy.
Personal Photo and Lead Generation Form
- Update Personal Photo: Select your picture in the site editor mode to replace and edit your personal photo.
- Lead Generation Form: Move the boxes around, change the submit button text, and customize the form to your preference.
Final Steps
- Republish Your Site: Once you have finished making your updates, republish your site to make all changes live.
