Why isn't my website free?

Wondering why your website isn't showing up as free? The .realtor professional website is free for the first year and is $39.95 per year after that.

This is not a bait and switch situation.  Your .realtor™ website may not be free for a few possible reasons:

  1. You  Aren't Logged In - If you aren't logged in to get.realtor with your NAR or CREA credentials the website won't be showing up for free until your M1 number or CREA member number is entered into the get.realtor system.

  2. You Don’t Qualify for the Free Offer – The free website offer is only available to NAR members (if you're in the U.S.) or CREA members (in Canada) and is only available one time.

  3. Additional Features or Services – If you selected premium features, such as email hosting or extra customization, those may come with additional costs.

  4. You've Already Claimed a Website - if you have claimed a .realtor domain/website in the past and let it lapse you are not eligible to get another .realtor website for free.  Members are only eligible for 1 free domain/website. Login to check your account records to see if this is the case.
  5. Domain Renewal Fees – If you registered a .realtor™ domain previously and are  outside of the free promotion, you may be responsible for standard domain renewal fees with are $39.95 per year.

To check why your website isn't free, I recommend logging into your get.realtor account to review your plan or contacting their customer support for clarification.

The www.get.realtor website offers a free .realtor™ website for a a 1 year period for 1 time to a NAR or CREA member, but a credit card is required  for verification or for automatic renewal after the free term expires. This ensures uninterrupted service if you choose to continue using the domain beyond the promotional period.
